Technical Features

• Quiet Fluid Motion Actuator: Uses a smooth, low-profile toggle mechanism that responds to light pressure, operating almost silently.

• Built-In Microban® Antimicrobial Surface: Features integrated Microban® technology embedded directly into the plastic to inhibit surface bacteria growth continuously.

• Universal 1-Pole or 3-Way Circuit Capability: Flexible wiring design supports both standard single-location control and multi-location 3-way setups without needing separate models.

• No Neutral Wire Required: Operates on standard 120 V AC power at 15 A without a neutral connection, simplifying retrofits in older homes.

• Tool-Free Snap-In Frame Installation: Snaps cleanly into the adorne mounting frame, utilizing internal pressure plates and screw terminals for #14 to #10 AWG wire sizes.

Applications

• High-Touch Residential Spaces: Great for kitchens, powder rooms, entryways, and kids' bedrooms where surface cleanliness and quiet operation matter.

• Bedrooms & Living Areas: Ideal for spaces where click-free switch actuation prevents disturbing sleeping family members.

• Multi-Location Lighting Control: Controls hallways or stairwells from two separate switch locations using standard 3-way traveler wires.

Buyer Guidance

• Wall Plate Sold Separately: Fits exclusively into Legrand adorne® screwless wall plates (available in 1-gang through 6-gang sizes).

• No Neutral Required: Compatible with older switch boxes where only hot and traveler wires are present.

• Verify Microban® Labeling: Look for the green dot or "Protected with Microban®" label on packaging when matching with existing store stock.

• 4-Way Installation Setup: To control lights from three or more locations, use the adorne Whisper Master and Remote switch setup rather than a standard 4-way mechanical switch.
